Холецистокинин (choiecystokinin) — гормон, освобождающий содержимое желудка на ранних стадиях пищеварения, который действует как мощное подавляющее средство на нормальное потребление пищи. Он также найден в мозгу.
Шишковидная железа (pineai gland) (или эпифиз) — железа внутренней секреции, находящаяся в мозгу. У некоторых животных она, по — видимому, служит биологическими часами, реагирующими на световой день.
